Tranent and Preston Village Cricket Club

Tranent Cricket Club are delighted to report that they have now commenced coaching cricket to youngsters within the community. TCC were approached by a teacher at Sanderson's Wynd Primary School who asked if the club could provide a six week coaching programme to P7 children.

We were obviously delighted to be asked and we had no shortage of volunteers willing to provide the sessions. Today's session was provided by club President Fiona Russell, Fiona Gilfillan and first team regulars Mark Anderson and Aiden Hoenigmann.

Hopefully it wont be long before some of these children represent the club in East of Scotland Cricket Leagues.
