Many sports clubs have found that it is increasingly difficult to run competitive, junior and social sides due to an increase in costs and a diminishing number of volunteers, members and sponsors. Tranent Cricket Club have also found that setting up a club is even more difficult where there are no local facilities on which to play or train. This has not stopped our committee from approaching various sponsors who share our vision of a sustainable community based club. It is therefore with great delight that we are in a position to name our club sponsors for the 2013 season. We thoroughly appreciate their support as without such help it would be very difficult to continue.
