Congratulations to first team player and youth convenor Mark Anderson on being named as one of Cricket Scotland's Volunteers of the month. The following report and picture being lifted from the Cricket Scotland website.
Mark Anderson joined Tranent CC in 2011 and has been heavily involved in almost all aspects of the club since. He is the current President and Junior Development Manager for the club which has entailed a huge amount of work at the burgeoning club. Mark has been the driving force behind the Tranent Titans Junior Section that has now grown to 3 teams and he`s involved in all aspects included running after school clubs, junior training nights, winter programmes, taking teams to festivals and even organising the playing kit!
Tranent have had significant growth and success at senior level as well with the club almost ready to introduce a 3rd XI next year and hopefully move into their new ground at Meadowmill in Tranent. Tranent CC has been a real success story in East Lothian and have come so far in such a short period of time thanks to the huge efforts of volunteers like Mark.
