Shortlist Success for Tranent CC

The shortlist of nominations for the 2013 Tranent & District Community Sports Clubs Awards has just been announced. 

Tranent Cricket Club and Tranent Titans are well represented in the categories mirroring a fantastic year of cricket we all had in 2013. The full nomination list is noted below.
 

1. Coach of the Year
For the coach making a significant impact on those who they have coached and is committed to providing greater opportunity for people to start, continue or succeed in sport.

Colin Dryburgh:                                    Tranent Colts Coaching coordinator & coach of Tranent Colts 2000

Bruce Halloran:                                    Head coach at Tranent Amateur Swimming Club

Mark Anderson:                                    Senior coach to Tranent Titans.

2. Junior Volunteer of the Year
For outstanding contribution from junior sports volunteer the benefit of the Tranent and District Community.

3. Senior Volunteer of the Year
For outstanding contribution from senior sports volunteer the benefit of the Tranent and District Community.

4. Disability Sports Person of the Year
For the Junior Disability Sports Person achieving sporting excellence in the calendar year.

5. Young Sportsperson of the Year
For the Young Sportsperson achieving sporting excellence in the calendar year.

6. Sports Person of the Year
For the Senior Sports person achieving sporting excellence in the calendar year.

7. Community Sports Club of the Year

For the creation of opportunity for the community of Tranent & District to be involved in sporting activity either competitive or social.
