Tranent and Preston Village Cricket Club

Today marked the end of the Lothian Under 12 Indoor Tournament with 5 of our young players representing either East Lothian  or East Lothian II. Our other Titan's Ellis, Katie, Sophie, Aaron and Bruce missing out on this occasion.

In the first game East Lothian II comfortably defeated Murrayfield DAFS to finish 3rd in the tournament with significant contributions made by our youngsters Douglas and Gregor.

In the tournament final Ella, Kelly and Sean were unable to beat a strong Livingston side but still played very well. Not too bad an effort for many of the youngsters who until 2013 had very limited exposure to cricket.

The outdoor season will commence after Easter but two tournaments have been confirmed already with our youngsters heading to Tyninghame in May and we will host a June Tournament. If you want to get your kids involved please get in touch.
