Tranent and Preston Village Cricket Club

On Friday evening the club attended Tranent & District Sports Awards, an awards ceremony celebrating sporting achievement amongst local sports clubs and sports people.

Tranent CC had received received 6 nominations across the 11 different categories and the standard of achievement was very high indeed. Paralympic sportsmen, National and European champions were amongst these nominations and to be included was reward enough.

In the team category the 1st XI were chosen by the panel celebrating their unbeaten league record in 2013 and their unbeaten league record which stretches back to April 2012.

Well done to all our players who contributed towards this award.
