Unfortunately for the 1st XI this weeks game against Dunbar was cancelled due to some torrential rain on Saturday morning.
However Sunday proved to be a lot nicer but with heavy rain showers scheduled for Sunday afternoon the match between the 2nds and 3rds was cut down to a 30 over game. the 2nds batted first and posted a very promising score of 257 for 5 off 30 overs. The top scorers for the 2nds were Thomas Hardwick 97, James Nicolson 59 not out and Paul Dance 43. The top bowlers for the 3rds were Neil Craigmile 1 for 17, Mike Brunton 1 for 18 and John Barrett 1 for 45. In reply the young 3rd XI team posted 144 a very good total for a young team against a very experienced 2nd XI team! The top run scorers were Neil McMillan 100, Neil Craigmile 8 and Aaron Weatherhead 4. The best of the bowlers for the 2nd XI were James Nicolson 2 for 7, Scott Beveridge 2 for 8 and Andrew Punton 2 for 22. The full scorecard is available here:

Unfortunately Tuesday's local derby vs Preston Village has been cancelled. Thursday sees a TCC XI take on S&N Tranent in an interclub friendly at the meadows. On Saturday the 1st XI take on 3rd placed Heriots at Goldenacre, the 2nds take on Edinburgh South 4ths at the TCG, finally the 3rd XI will travel to the Gyle to face RHC 4ths.
