Unfortunately the 1st XI lost their first league game in over two and a half years on Saturday losing by 7 wickets. Big congratulations to Waleed Hassan who scored his first century on his last game for TCC, a massive thank you from all the club and best wishes for the future. Top performers with the bat were Waleed Hassan 101, Sardar Fahim 40 and Omais Altaf 28. The best of the bowling figures were Gary Findlay 1 for 34 and Sheljo Jose 1 for 46. 

The 2nd XI also were just pipped of victory in a very exciting match against Morton losing by 4 wickets with only 7 balls left in the match. Top performers with the bat were Karthick Srinivasan 47, Paul Dance 32 and David Punton 27. The pick of the bowlers were Adnan Noor Ali 2 for 30, Haider Bilgrami 1 for 9 and David Punton 1 for 24.

The 3rd XI finished of there league campaign in style by recording a 4 wicket victory against Stirling County, this ensures a 3rd place finish. The 3rd XI has been a great success this season allowing the young Titans to get an insight into hard ball cricket which they have really enjoyed! To win 9 games out of 14 is pretty impressive so a huge well done to everyone who has played for the 3rds this year, you have done the club proud! The top performers with the bat against Stirling were Howard Thain 39, Neil McMillan 20 and Neil Craigmile 19 not out. The pick of the bowlers were Colin McMillan 3 for 16, John Barrett 1 for 8 and young Titans Aaron Weatherhead 1 for 8 and Ella McMillan 1 for 17.

This weekend the first XI are away to OCCC, 2 points out of an available 20 will see them crowned Division 6 champions and secure back to back league titles and the 4th promotion in 4 years. The 2nd XI host RHC 4ths at the TCG a win would ensure promotion! On Sunday the first XI are competing in the Presidents Plate final at Arobretum against Holy Cross 2nds starting at 1pm. It would be good to see as many members of the club there as possible to help cheer the team on. Directions are at the bottom of the article.

Lets hope for two trophies and a promotion this week for TCC. Come on the Belters!!
